Andrea, 39, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at her home in Irvine, CA. She was cremated March 18, 2022. The family will host a celebration of her life at a later date.
Andrea was born December 17, 1982 to parents, Gary Ferrell and Patsy Prokisch Ferrell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married KC Anderson in 2010, their son, Jaxton was born July 10, 2012.
Andrea was a creative writer, who wrote her first book titled “The Chaos Prophecy”, starting when she was in junior high and published in her early twenties. She thrived as an actress at Desert Stages Children’s Theater as a preteen and into her teens. Andrea attended New School for the Arts in Scottsdale, AZ, where she concentrated her studies in drama and creative writing. In 2007, Andrea received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Arizona State University.
Preceding her in death include: paternal grandparents, ML and Mary Denell Crye Ferrell, maternal grandparents, Homer Edward and Albina Wetzel Prokisch, and step grandfather, Harold Ferguson.
Survivors include: nine year old son, Jaxton and her husband, KC Anderson of Irvine, CA, his brother, Doug Anderson and wife, Erika, their children, Devan, Landon, and Kylene of Phoenix, AZ; father, Gary Ferrell and wife, Michele Montgomery Ferrell of Redondo Beach, CA, her son, Kenneth Montgomery and wife, Sandy, their son, Colton of Long Beach; mother, Patsy Ferrell and husband, Jerry Leggett of Tubac, AZ, his son, Brian Leggett of Oceanside, CA; brother, Jeremy Ferrell and wife, Melissa, their daughter, Kelly of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; dear friends, Christine Marie Barnes and husband, Ryan of Prescott Valley, AZ and Robert, of Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area and family friend, Larkin Rossitter of Rio Rico, AZ.
A tribute to Andrea’s life will be a Storytrail in Tubac, AZ, commemorating her life as a writer and a storyteller.
Andrea will continue to be loved and cherished everyday by those who hold her in their hearts.
